Christen Lien is a composer, performing artist and musician of Cosmic Classical music. Christen’s moody compositions of warm strings are filled with emotional counterpoints and melodies, breathtaking builds and haunting electronic atmospheres that make her music the perfect tapestry to explore your inner world and channel creativity and focus. Her live performances are emotional experiences that include storytelling and technology, to create a multi-faceted landscape that bridges worlds and ideas.
Christen has presented her music and perspectives at gatherings for world leaders in governance and advanced technology. Institutions such as the TED, Summit and NEXUS networks, private events hosted by the Dalai Lama, Richard Branson and Eric Schmidt, international museums, Ivy League universities and renowned healing centers such as Esalen have embraced her work and thought leadership. Christen also has a sound installation on permanent display at the National Museum of Qatar.
An entrepreneur and innovator at heart, Christen has released two full-length albums and a third is on the way. One of Christen's albums was turned into a ballet production, and she has produced numerous collaborative remixes. She is currently writing her first book, which is a cross-media project that comes with music releases and an accompanying concert experience.
